Life after college for Sheena Edwards and Torina Perillo started out fun, exciting, and a dream come true when they move to a big city. But, they soon realize all good things can come to a screeching halt, as the decision proves to be life changing.

After recovering from a disadvantaged childhood, Sheena, a poet at heart, thinks her life is perfect when she lands an editor position with a large newspaper, and rekindles and marries an old love interest. But all isn’t what it seems when skeletons surface, and problems arise within her marriage.

On the other hand, born into a rich Italian family, Torina finds it easy to get what she wants, no matter the consequences, and steps into new territory where her life comes spiraling downhill due to a destructive new relationship, and an evolving drug addiction.

As both women find themselves growing distant from each other, they soon learn restoring their friendship may be the only good thing they have left to survive the tragedies in their lives and overcome painful lessons.
